The concept of this photo was to show the reflection in the water. This picture was taken in mission beach in the early afteroon. The picture hs great lighting effects and helps emphasize the reflection in the water. The way the color of the water contrasts with the wet sand really makes this photo stand out. I think this photo is a visial description of how laid back and beautiful San Diego is. I wanted to take my photo as my final because it was a cage of pace from my usual photography.

This picture is supposed to highlight the lighing and the sunset, and i think i did a pretty good job or portraying the concept. I especially like how the light is so piercing that it pokes through the trees and branches. I purposefully waited to take this picture when the sun started to go down. This picture was taken at a park by downtown san diego. I choe this picture for my final because it expressesother elements than what i am used to.

Second Series (Period 4)

The central idea of this image is to emphasize the colors in the palm tree and in the back ground and to make the viewer look at this image in many different ways. I shot this photo around 3 pm so the lighting was bright. Because of the colors in the photo, it really makes the picture pop out in a unique way. I think this photo goes with my theme because it is all about colors and shapes. From here, i would like to see my theme develop and broaden itself even more. The central idea of this image is to show all of the differnt colors in the plants and flowers. This image has all kinds of vibrant colors and textures. I shot this photo in a botanical garden around 2 pm so the lighting was peaking through the garden. Senior Exhibiton (Abstract/Nature Theme)

The concept of my theme/series of photos is to express some of the abstract apects of landscapes and different families of nature (water, rocks, plants, leaves, berries, etc.) in a way that captures the viewers eye and helps them to imagine the elements are directly in front of them. I shot in many different places in the hopes of making my photos look different, yet cohesive. These images all have a unique appearence and an alluring, delightful, and enticing presence about them. I am extremely pleased/proud of my series, and I hope that my images are as pleasing to the eye as I feel that they are.

The central idea of this image is to catch the viewers eye by showing peaks of bright green grassy areas surrounded by grey and bland stick weeds. I shot this photo around 12 noon so the lighting was bright and sunny. Because of the lighting, and also editing, you can see the green grass pop in the picture. This is mage is extremely abstract, which demonstrates how amazing nature is for it to form such natural beauty without even knowing it. I think this photo goes with my theme because shows through pictorial form that landscapes can be all uniquely beautiful and different from one another. The central idea of this image is to show the darkness of the branches and the light in the background and in the grass so that the viewer can get an idea of how unique this particular tree was. I shot this photo around 2 pm, so the sun was still shining outside. Because of the sun, you can see the highlights of the light reflecting off of the grass which enhances the dark and light aspect of the photo. I think this photo goes with my theme because it displays abstract views and demonstrates the uncommon factors of this unique tree. The central idea of this image is to present the fall colored leaves with the contrast of the bright green grass and also to enhance the browns and tans in the tree branch. I shot this photo around 4 pm so the lighting was getting a little darker for the day. Because of the sun still peaking out a bit, you can see sun reflecting off of the tree brach, and you can also see some hints of sun on the crunchy fall colored leaves. I think this photo goes with my theme because it depicts a lot of textural elements. It has color, texture, different shapes and size, and yet maintains an abstract feel. The central idea of this image is to emhasize the beauty of the berries. I love how the reds attract the eye first, then the lovely greens are next. I shot this photo around 12 noon so the lighting was pretty much set on a warm sunny day. The central idea of this image is to illustrate the colors and textures in the photo surrounding the twig. I absolutely love the dark and light colors because they are contrasty and beautiful I shot this photo around 3pm so the sun was still out, which made for an eye-catching photo. Because of the lighting, the twigs and sticks are made to look different, because mormally, you would not expect someone to think of a few sticks as beautiful. The central idea of this image is to emphasize dark pebbles, and muddy water contrasted with deep green leaves. I shot this photo around 1 am so the lighting was bright. Using photoshop, I edited is so that the picture darkened and enhanced the bright colors within the image. I think this photo goes with my theme because it has a lot of abstract elements and different shades textures. This image is unique in a way that many textural factors are presented. The central idea of this image is to express the browns and tans within the gravel, partnered with the murky water. I shot this photo around 12 noon so the sun was out, which you can tell because of the light reflecting off of the dirty water. Because of the textures in the gravel, this image presents an interesting look. The central idea of this image is to make the viewer wonder what exactly is in this picture. It is interesting because you don't really know what is making the water look so metallic. I shot this photo around 12 noon so the lighting great because of the brightness. Because of the sun, you can see the deep reflection of the light off on the oil in the water.
